Dr Tinashe Harry

B Admin (Hons), MComm, DComm – Industrial Psychology – University of Fort Hare

Tinashe is a registered Industrial Psychologist (Work Psychologist) – HPCSA PS0136310. He has extensive experience in areas such as Psycho-Legal, Organisational Development, and HR Consulting. He has published research articles in various areas, including career psychology, graduate employability, labor market experiences, self-initiated expatriates, and human capital development in local and international journals. His research interests are in women health issues and mental disorders in the workplace, graduate employability, and use of logotherapy in the workplace. 

Tinashe has a keen interest in counselling and coaching life and work contexts. His mission is to help people with questions around self-development, life purpose, self-awareness, careers, burnout, identity, grief, loss, career transitions, and workplace challenges. His counselling and coaching are mainly informed by Logotherapy (Meaning-Cantered). He aims to form a collaborative relationship with individuals to transform their lives and search for the meaning of their lives.

Dr Tatenda Nyabvudzi

Tatenda has a strong academic foundation in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. She is a Registered Psychometrist (HPCSA- PMT 0095621) and a Career Development Practitioner (SACDA-ED1917400010). Tatenda is passionate about and has extensive experience in Psychometric Evaluation and Assessment, Career Development as well as Recruitment and Selection. She has a keen interest in Medico-Legal Work, Career Coaching, Human Resource Consulting, Research, and Psychometric Evaluation and Assessment.

THWP is there to provide sound professional advice through an in-depth understanding of human and organisational behavior.

Our approach draws from the framework of best business practices and psychological theories and models. We provide expertise in the following areas, but not limited to:

We provide expert opinion in the quantification of damages in civil litigation in areas such as personal injuries, loss of support, insurance claims, divorce cases, damages arising out of employment practices or relationships, and medical negligence.

We provide resolutions to Human Resources needs, and our services range include but are not limited to Recruitment and Selection, Employee Wellness, Psychometric Assessments, Training, and Development, Industrial Relations Matters, Performance Management, Job Evaluation, and Grading.

Our psychometric assessments enable individuals, teams, and organisations to make informed talent management decisions. We use a range of scientifically valid and reliable psychometric assessments that have been classified and reviewed by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). 

We assist both young graduates and established professionals with understanding their career paths. Our career management process embraces various concepts, including self-awareness, career development planning/career exploration, life-long learning, and networking. We also assist and guide people in adapting to the ever-changing labour market.

We offer mediation and conflict resolution services based on transformative mediation. Our services are flexible depending on the needs of the client. Our accreditation is from Conflict Dynamics.

We support individuals and teams to optimise their performance by assisting them to embrace their authentic selves and guiding them to create positive shifts in their unique paths. Our counselling and coaching approach is guided by the work of Viktor Frankl and the principles of Logotherapy. We offer one-on-one counselling and group or team counselling in areas such as retrenchment, adjusting to job changes, and work-life balance. 

We conduct both empirical quantitative and qualitative research in various areas affecting individuals, society (communities), organisations and the country at large. We aim to bridge the gap between academic research and practice.

We are available as a guest or visiting lecturers for various Industrial-Organisational Psychology and Human Resources Management modules such as Career Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Organisational Development, and Behaviour and Industrial Relations.

We offer workshops and training sessions in the following areas: Work-life balance, Psychological Safety, Stress and Anger Management, Human Relations, Workplace Diversity, and Workplace Psychopathology. Each workshop or training is tailored to meet the needs of the course and those of the students and or delegates who will be attending the sessions.
